FARINGDON PEACE GROUP is a non-party-political group that has been active since 1981. We try to develop awareness and encourage open discussion on issues of peace in our world. Where appropriate we also organise or take part in direct action events. We meet regularly on the first Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm in the Friends’ Meeting House, Lechlade Road, Faringdon (opposite the old Duke of Wellington: Postcode SN7 8AQ for those with satnavs) and once a year we organise the GRAND PEACE FETE  in the beautiful grounds of Clockhouse, Coleshill. 

At most meetings we have guest speakers. Everyone is welcome to attend, and meeting topics are publicised in the local press,  on the displayed posters around the town, and under Diary Dates here on the website.
